The following story might sound ridiculously unlucky.

It all started when my old laptop crashed. So, I sent it to a service center for computers, with warranty. Turned out they couldn't find the problem, so my laptop had to stay there for a few mroe days. Then it was the weekend and they don't open on weekends, so a few more days turned into a week. And on Monday, they called and I was told that the centre has been broken into, and my laptop along with others were all stolen.

Terrific, eh?

So they have to give me a new laptop. And of all the days they could pick, it has to be on the 24th of Dec. I'm leaving for Singapore on the 26th, and the 25th's a holiday (Christmas, remember?). That simply means that if the laptop doesn't turn up on the 24th, I won't get it in time. And the way I see these people do stuffs, there's no guarantee that I'd get it on the 24th.

What other options did I have? I had to buy a new laptop before Christmas.

And amazingly, I live in the quietest (almost the quietest) state in M'sia, and buying a laptop around here is like trying to fly or something. It's virtually impossible. But, I tried, we went to shops that have only ONE laptop for sale, and some that have none (you have to order, we were told). So, off to KL we went. 2 hours journey.

Finally found an IBM that I like. It's got face recognition. haha.

Now, I have to install everything all over again. I lost my psp 9, in other words, lost my ability to doll. I'm handicapped in MSpaint. Had to redraw myself from the Secret Santa Blue's organizing. A big sorry, again.

I guess I'll have to take a break from dolling seriously until I install Paint Shop Pro, but a few small crappy dolls may come out from MSPaint.

Oh yea, and my mum is going to get the new laptop when it comes.

Now, for some none dA related things.

I'm packing. I'm not exactly a newbie to hostel life, but this is a whole other country. And that's a lot of difference, regardless of what some people think. It's like being a foreigner. According to the contract, I'll have to stay there for four years, until the end of my college years.

I'll be checking in on the 26th and having a medical checkup on 27th. And I'm sick! I'm coughing. I had asthma so when I cough, I cough for a long time. I just hope I'll pass the medical checkup. Because if i don't, I'll be sent back. yikes!

So spare me a prayer when you remember, please.
